Counselor
Training - June 26 - July
5
An intensive, fun session that gives you the skills you need to
work as a Counselor at Camp Huston. Learn listening skills, game
leading, group building and meet new friends. Potential Counselors
must successfully complete CT to be considered. To learn more

here. Open to those at least 16 years old and completed the 10th grade.

Mini Camp -
July 8 - 11
This year
early in the season we will have our Mini Camp a great introductory camp for younger campers.
This session is just long enough to get a real camp experience and have them wanting to come back year after year. Open to excited campers entering Grades 1 - 5

Session
1 - July 13 -19.............. Traditional and Horse Camp
(Horse Camp FULL)
The first
one-week session of the summer and is set to be like
the others: a great one! Traditional Session open to campers entering grades 3 - 10.
This year also during this session we offer our Horse Camp. This
special program is open to Campers entering grades 5 - 8. Each
day these Campers will work with Instructor KC Letterman in Gold
Bar for 3 hours of instruction. If you want to enjoy our
traditional summer Camp or maybe want to be around horses, this
could be a great Session for you.

July 20 - 26 ........... Camp I-VY
Camp Huston will host Camp I-VY, a summer Camp program
held by the Bleeding Disorder Foundation of Washington. For more

3 - July 27 - August
2 ...............Traditional
and Skate Camp
Our
traditional week-long camping session. Open to campers entering
grades 3 - 10. This year we also will have our Skate Camp open
to campers entering grades 4-7, we will visit some awesome skate
parks and have the chance to work on switch flips and boosting
some sick air. Skaters will also participate in various
team-building activities in the camp community.

Family
Camp - August 4 - August 8

Our
newest addition to Huston!
A great new way
for the entire family to get away, have fun, experience
community, and have time to relax in the wilderness! Each day we
will have activities such as hiking, team building, crafts to
choose from in the morning, activity time to enjoy the pool,
archery, arts and crafts, and running around, family time in the
afternoon, time to rejuvenate, community time in the evening,
and a chapel service each night. Come together and get away!
Open to families of any size and make-up.

Session 4 - August 10 -
16......International Odyssey
Close out the summer with
new and old friends in this one-week session full of the Huston
experience. This year some new friends from the Rikkyo
School in Japan will join us for a week of fun and adventure. Open to grades 3 - 10.

Pricing:
We have a three-tiered pricing system to enable families who
cannot afford the full price of camp the opportunity to send the
children at a sponsored rate. The sponsored cost does not chance
the experience of the camper, only the amount which is paid.
A: Fully sponsored cost - Remaining balance will be paid by our
Camper Scholarship Fund
B: Partially sponsored cost - Remaining balance will be paid by
our Camper Scholarship Fund

Adventure
Program Schedule 2008
Session 5:

July 7 - 10 ................ Family Deschutes Trip!
Are you and your family looking for a great
adventure? You need to see this. This year Camp Huston tries
something new. The whole family can enjoy our trip to Oregon. We
will raft some amazing rapids and set up Camp along the shores
of the Deschutes river. We will serve some amazing food and have
great time at night. Ages: 11 and over.
(Van transportation is included in the price)

6: - July 13 - 18
................ Rafting, Inflatable
Kayaking and Rock Climbing
This session is packed with water excitement and
rock climbing. 2 days of rafting on the Skykomish river and 2
days of water fun on the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth and a day on the
rocks in Icicle Canyon. You've got to try
this! Campers will learn to work together while having fun on the river and rocks. Grades 7 - 10

..................Deschutes River
Rafting Trip
Did you think rafting on the Skykomish or
Wenatchee was fun and had it all? Then you have to experience
this! This river rafting trip will bring us to Oregon for three
days of incredible rafting. Every night we will set up camp at a
different location along the Deschutes River. We’ll go through
some awesome rapids and be able to enjoy the amazing scenery
firsthand … You’ll have the time of your life! (Van transportation is included in the price).
